Depart Melbourne bound for the outback and beyond. Touch down at the mining capital of the world, Coober Pedy. A private tour of this fascinating town will be followed with sundowners over the Breakaways Range.

After breakfast fly north to Alice Springs for a private tour of the West MacDonnell Ranges. We’ll take a visit to some spectacular locations along the West MacDonnell Ranges, including Standley Chasm, Simpson’s Gap, Ellery Creek Bighole, Serpentine Gorge, Ochre Pits, Ormiston Gorge, Glen Helen Gorge, Redbank Gorge and Gosse Bluff.

Track the Stuart Highway north from the air en route to Opium Creek Station’s airfield. We visit this region for its beauty and isolation, offering all the wildlife and wetlands of the popular Kakadu National Park, minus all the tourists. This afternoon tour a beautiful rainforest right on your doorstep or relax by the pool.

Today, as a privileged Air Adventure guest, you will cruise the Mary River Wetlands with an expert guide experiencing some very special parts of Point Stuart. This area has an abundance of birdlife, saltwater crocodiles and barramundi. With the right tide, an afternoon of barramundi fishing is arranged for all who wish to try their luck at hooking a 1 metre plus barra which will then be prepared for you by your evening chef.

Leaving Point Stuart after breakfast, the Outback Jet will fly you onto Bathurst Island where you will be met by your Tiwi guides and welcomed by the traditional owners who will escort you around this fascinating island. Enjoy morning tea and lunch with your Tiwi hosts before continuing on to Bullo River Station where you’ll land on their airstrip literally a stone’s throw from the homestead.

For the next two days, 500,000 acres of NT wilderness is yours to explore. Throughout your stay we will utilise helicopters, ATV’s, boats and horses (optional) to make sure you experience the gorges, fishing spots, aboriginal rock art, massive boab trees and all that this authentic cattle station has to offer.

Farewell Bullo River after breakfast for the flight across the border to Kimberley Coastal Camp. Making an entrance is all part of fun – land at the Mitchell Plateau, board a helicopter and enjoy a scenic flight over the Mitchell Falls before landing on the beach at the camp. Enjoy this ultra-remote, tranquil lodge overlooking the Timor Sea.

Across the next two full days, your time at Kimberley Coastal Camp can be as active or relaxing as you like (or a combination of the two). There’s boat trips, bush walks to remarkable rock art sites, islands to explore, fish and mud crabs to be caught, waterholes to swim in, beach combing as well as a very well appointed ‘base camp’ where you can relax in your bungalow or by the freshwater pool.

This morning’s flight is across some of the most scenic flying anywhere on the continent: Prince Regent River, Kings Cascade, Horizontal Waterfalls and Kimberley Coastal fjords. Land in Broome mid morning and in the afternoon you’ll have the option to explore the town on a guided tour or explore Cable Beach. You may also like to board a seaplane to the Horizontal Falls (additional cost).

Today’s flight will see fly from the northern WA coast over the Tanami to Uluru to enjoy a spectacular view of this giant monolith from the air. From there it’s a brief flight over the Amadeus chain of salt lakes to Kings Creek Station. Your accommodation in The Drovers Dream is a truly Australian outback accommodation experience, but with all the creature comforts built in. These tents come with beautifully appointed furnishings and luxurious internal ensuite. This is camping in style!

This morning enjoy a private tour to take in one of the most iconic landmarks of the Australian outback, Kings Canyon (Watarrka). You’ll have the option to take on the spectacular ‘rim-walk’, or settle for one of the more leisurely strolls.
After lunch, board your waiting aircraft bound for the tiny settlement of Parachilna where your accommodation is at the very stylish Prairie Hotel, famed for its gourmet outback inspired cuisine.

This morning you are taken on a drive into the ancient western Flinders Ranges and Brachina Gorge. Spot the agile yellow-footed rock wallabies before returning for yet another gourmet encounter courtesy of the Prairie Hotel. Air Adventure guests’ flight-leg homeward tracks over the magnificent Wilpena Pound then continuing on to Melbourne, touching down in the early evening.
